Financial support in Bachelor's degree programs In general international students may hardly find any financial support for studying within a Bachelor's program in Germany. Especially in the first few years of studying the chance to get a financial support is very low. For some international students the International Programs Office at the university may support the final study phase via a program called "Studienabschlussbeihilfen" of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The financial support is for a max. of one semester and should assure the completion of the study program. The International Programs Office will accept applications for this DAAD program.An overview of scholarship program available for internationale students you may find on the website of the German Exchange Service DAAD; it offers a database (Stipediendatenbank) for most of the scholarships and scholarship organizations.

Financial support in Master's degree programs As an international students it is relativly easier to get a scholarship for a master's degree program than for an undergraduate program. For getting a scholarship on Master's level you may find more scholarship organizations and sometime the universities will pay scholarships. An overview you will find on the website of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD via the database of scholarships (Stipendiendatenbank).  
Financial support in exchange programs International students may find most of the financial support in exchange programs with partner universities. Exchange students from European partner may get a financial support (stipend) within ERASMUS as part of the Life Long Learning Program LLP of the EU.

For exchange students from outside the EU the university offers various scholarships and stipends. Availabe are scholarsships from the land Baden-Wuerttemberg via a foundation (Landesstiftung Baden-Wuerttemberg). Also available are socalled Matching Funds; these stipends are supported via the German Academic Exchange service DAAD and private companies and organizations.		  
Partners in ERASMUS The ERASMUS Program of the EU support student mobility in Europe. Within the ERASMUS program Pforzheim University has signed several exchange agreements with European universities and student from these universities may get a financial support for studying in Pforzheim via the home (sending) university.
